Staten Island Preserve, California

As the cornfields are harvested, the migratory wild birds move in to feast. Here are five pictures I took inside the Staten Island Preserve in the Sacramento River Delta Region, California. I’m intrigue to watch so many sandhill cranes and geese eating the leftovers in the cornfields after the harvest.

    • Thanks Oscar. I always enjoy seeing the sandhill cranes and geese arrive in the fall. It’s fun to watch them feeding in the cornfields after the harvest.
