Amador County Golden Landscape, California

I took these landscape photos in Amador County in the Gold Country. I mostly took these photos along Latrobe and Greilich Roads in Amador County in California. These roads mostly parallel California Highway 49 in the Gold Country. The grass on the hillsides is mostly dry with a golden yellow color contrasted with the green oak trees and the blue sky. This scenery is typical of the foothills in the middle of summer here.

Cherry Blossoms in Linden, California

Here are seven photos I took of cherry blossoms in the Central Valley near Linden, California. The cherry trees are just beginning to bloom here. I found these on Archerdale Road, Baker Road, and Jack Tone Road.

Almond Blossoms in French Camp, California

Here are seven images that I captured of blossoms in some almond orchards located in French Camp, California. You can find them easily along French Camp Road in the Central Valley. I understand that they are the first fruit trees to bloom and the last ones to bear fruit in the summer. They usually bloom during the last two weeks of February.

Views of a Fall Day in the California Delta

I took these ten images on a recent visit to the Sacramento River Delta Region. The wildlife and sunset images that I took are in the Staten Island Preserve, near Walnut Grove, California.

I always enjoy visiting The Delta. It intrigues me with sights and sounds of wildlife on the Pacific Flyway.

Here are seven images that I took last Sunday of cackling geese in flight and sandhill cranes feeding in flooded corn fields. It was a beautiful cool fall day.

Cherry Blossoms Come With Spring

Here are five pictures I took on a recent drive through some cherry orchards growing near Linden, California. It was the second day of spring. It was great to get some fresh air during the current pandemic crisis. And I was able to easily stay out of the way of fellow human beings. Right now alone in nature is safer. Be safe and stay healthy.

Autumn in The Delta, California

Here are five photos that I took driving around The Delta in Sacramento River Delta Region. I found the sandhill cranes along Woodbridge Road and the vineyard near Thorton, California. Fall color everywhere you look.

Solano County Wind Farms California

Here are some photos that I took early this morning driving through Solano County Wind Farms. You can see safflowers blooming on the hills. There are some beautiful examples of Victorian architecture in the area. Solano County wind farms look great in the summer because of the safflowers are in bloom on the hills.
