Florida Trip Photos in April, 2023

Here are 17 photos that I took on my trip to visit my sister in Florida. I took a few of the photos in a local park named Chestnut. Most of the flowers I took are n my sister’s yard. I had a wonderful trip.

Lupines at Folsom Lake, California

I took these photos of lupines at Beeks Bight on Folsom Lake last April 1, 2022. The weather was ideal: sunny, warm, blue sky, and with a wind speed of 3 mph. Of course there were plenty of lupines in bloom. I had a wonderful time taking photos there.

July Flowers in the Neighborhood

I received a new Nikkor Z MC 105 f/2.8 last Friday. So I was curious to try it on my Nikon Z6 camera this morning. Here are some samples that I took with it of flowers in the neighborhood. For me, it seems to have great detail, nice color rendition, and good bokeh. The flowers include African lilies, society garlic, marigolds, day lily, and roses. Happy Fourth of July! Nature also puts on colorful fireworks too I believe.

Here are seven photos that I took of wildflowers in the Mokelumne River Canyon, along Electra Road, off of Highway 49 near Jackson, California.

North Table Mountain Superbloom

On a trip to North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve, Oroville, California, I took these pictures there of the wildflowers in blooms. It was Easter and there were many wildflowers like lupines, purple owl’s clover, poppies, and many other blooming wildflowers. The whole mountain plateau looked like a giant Easter basket full of colored eggs or ,in this instance, colorful wildflower blooms.

Tulip magnolia blooms are among the first blooms of spring here in The Central Valley, California. Here are seven photos that I recently took of some magnolia tulip tree blossoms in my neighborhood. Beautiful colors.

Here are some photos of flowers near where I live in Stockton, California, that I took on a smoky hazy morning. Thus the sunlight was dffused allowing more details to be seen.

Day Lilies Roses Society Garlics Marigolds Zinnia

While on a early morning walk, I took fifteen photos of the flowers I observed along the way. The blooms look stunning in the golden hour following sunrise.

Water Hyacinths in Trapper Slough, California

I took five images of water hyacinths blooming in Trapper Slough, California. I took these images from the shoulder of Bacon Road near Stockton, California. The purple blooms are beautiful at sunrise.

Hibiscus, African Lilies, and Lantana

With a close-up lens, I took these five photos within walking distance of where I live in the Central Valley in California. There’s a lot of diverse blooms to photograph here in the Valley.
