Hafa Adai! Here are some pictures that I took during my stay on the Mariannas Island of Guam, U.S. Territory. I took these pictures starting in 1973 to 1984 when I left Guam. The sunsets are of Tumon Bay. Also I took a picture of a World War II Japanese mini submarine on the Naval Station there.  Merizo is the southernmost village in Guam where Ferdinand Magellan reportedly landed on his round the world trip. I took some pictures of the 6th Annual Filipino Student Festival in the courtyard of John F. Kennedy High School, Tumon. Guam Public School System serves the island. I was a teacher there for 12 years. I have fond memories of the generosity of the islanders, the hospitality of their fiestas, and beautiful blue lagoons with coconut trees and coral ringed beaches.
