Japanese Garden in Micke Grove Regional Park, California

Here are seven images that I took with a Nikon Z 6 using a Nikon Z 85 mm lens of scenes within the Japanese Garden located in Micke Grove Regional Park near Lodi, California. It’s a quiet tranquil colorful place nestled under huge valley oaks. This beautiful spot is almost hidden from view in the Central Valley. For me it’s a delight to discover in the early morning light. The garden is only opened in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm.

Cherry Blossoms Come With Spring

Here are five pictures I took on a recent drive through some cherry orchards growing near Linden, California. It was the second day of spring. It was great to get some fresh air during the current pandemic crisis. And I was able to easily stay out of the way of fellow human beings. Right now alone in nature is safer. Be safe and stay healthy.

I took these three photos of cherry orchards near Linden, San Joaquin County, California. The first one has wild yellow mustard growing beneath the cherry trees. The last two photos are of older mature cherry trees still producing beautiful blossoms.

Spring Drive in the Valley along California Highways 26, 49, and 88.

 

I took these photos on a drive through the Central Valley and Gold Country via California Highways 26,49, 88. I noticed blossoms almost everywhere.

After a rain shower, I took these photos of neighborhood flowering magnolia tree tulips and ornamental cherry trees. I find just after a rain is a wonderful time to capture rain droplets on blossoms. You can find these flowering trees around Quail Lakes Drive, Stockton, California.
