Florida Trip 2021

On a recent visit to Florida, I took these 14 photos in Central Florida. I started taking some photos in Oldsmar, Florida. As well, I took more photos in nearby parks as John Chestnut Sr. Park in Palm Harbor, Florida; Upper Tampa Bay Park in Tampa, Florida; Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, Florida. I took the sunset photos at Howard Park Beach in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I had a wonderful time visiting and taking photos in Central Florida.

Dillon Beach, California

Here are some pictures I took while walking along Dillon Beach located near the village of Bodega where Hitchcock’s “The Birds” film took place. The beach is located on the northern coast of Marin County, about 60 miles north of San Francisco. Take the Pacific Coastal Highway US 1 north of San Francisco and turn left in Tomales on the Dillon Beach Road. Beautiful beach scenery at the opening of Tomales Bay. Go off season on a weekday simply because you will find that there are fewer people on the beach and quite likely more sun.

Pacifica Pier, California

Here are some pictures I took on Pacifica Pier while on a trip there last weekend. Pacifica is easily accessible by freeways from Stockton where I live. Just south of San Francisco, Pacifica is on the Pacific Coast Highway 1. I used a Nikon D300s DX camera with mostly a Nikon 18-200 DX lens. The sun was hidden by clouds. But as you can see, the clouds have a silver lining.

Wrightsville and Kure Beaches, NC

Here are nine pictures I took of two of North Carolina Beaches: Wrightsville and Kure. The beaches are near Wilmington, North Carolina. I was there attending a wedding ceremony on the beach April 28, 2012.

Venice Beach at Sunset, California

On a recent trip to Venice Beach, California, I took some pictures of a beautiful golden red sunset there. I was awed by the intense sky color reflected in the surf on the sand. I used my Nikon D300s with the Nikon 18-200 lens.
