Close Encounters on The Delta

Here are some more pictures that I took recently with the Panasonic G9 of wildlife and sunsets in the Staten Island Preserve. Staten Island Preserve is surrounded on three sides by levees. It’s located in the Sacramento River Delta Region. The nearest town is Walnut Grove, California. The distant mountain in the background is Mount Diablo. It’s another beautiful day in The Delta.

Here are five pictures that I recently took in The Sacramento River Delta Region. I started at Woodbridge Ecological Preserve and then I went on to Staten Island Preserve. I saw ducks, geese, egrets, and sandhill cranes. I took these pictures with the new Panasonic G9 camera just released for sale. I used a Lumix G Vario 12-60mm F3.5-5.6 lens and a Lumix G Vario 100-300mm F4.0-5.6 lens.  It seems to track wild birds well and to have a sharp focus. Nice day in the neighborhood!
