Here are some pictures I took of a double drawbridge over the Sacramento River, the Old Sugar Mill located near the banks of the same river, and Pigeon Point Lighthouse on the Pacific Coast Highway 1. They all have water and shipping in common. I used a Nikon D600 camera. The water connection among the pictures intrigues me.

When the sun came out last Saturday, I grabbed my camera and went to shoot some pictures of the Shiloh II Wind Project near Rio Vista along Highway 12 in California.  These are the first pictures that I took with a new prime lens, Nikkor 1.8G 35mm DX APS. It’s considered a normal lens for Nikon DX cameras. It’s very small, light, and fast. It has been a long time since I have took pictures with a normal prime lens. Here are some results.
