Dogwood Tree in Calaveras Big Trees State Park, California

On a recent visit to Calaveras Big Trees State Park, I found this one flowering dogwood tree. I took these photos of it. This one dogwood tree seemed to be at peak bloom. As always, I find beautiful scenery there.

Almond Blossoms in French Camp, California

Here are seven images that I captured of blossoms in some almond orchards located in French Camp, California. You can find them easily along French Camp Road in the Central Valley. I understand that they are the first fruit trees to bloom and the last ones to bear fruit in the summer. They usually bloom during the last two weeks of February.
