Here are seven images that I captured of blossoms in some almond orchards located in French Camp, California. You can find them easily along French Camp Road in the Central Valley. I understand that they are the first fruit trees to bloom and the last ones to bear fruit in the summer. They usually bloom during the last two weeks of February.

Here are ten pictures that I took on the 50th Earth Day Celebration. I found these poppies and lupins in Calaveras County, the Gold Country, near Jackson, California. It was a beautiful Earth Day full of spring color. I was surprised to find so many poppies on the hillsides.

It was great to get some fresh air during the current pandemic crisis. And I was able to easily stay out of the way of fellow human beings. Right now alone in nature is safer.
